HARP
I’ve had several inquiries regarding HARP, so I want to take a moment to clarify our status. The agreement with the Kenan Center was strictly a shared monetary collaboration, not creative, with management prior to the changes in 2023. There were no contracts, just a simple gentleman’s agreement. The new management of Kenan Center felt they no longer were able to honor the agreement made by the prior management. Perfectly understandable. The Kenan said they could and would accommodate HARP strictly as renters of the theatre space. I cannot emphasize enough, HARP is happy with that arrangement. At this point in time we are on hold only by choice. Since we are a casual and privately funded partnership, we are free to do shows we want, when we want and where we want, so stay tuned!
