Amesbury High School Presents Chicago the Musical - High School Edition.

Set in the legendary city during the roaring “jazz hot” 20s, Chicago tells the story of two rival vaudevillian murderesses locked up in Cook County Jail. Nightclub star Velma’s serving time for killing her husband and sister after finding the two in bed together. Driven chorus girl Roxie’s been tossed in the joint for bumping off the lover she’s been cheating on her husband with. Not one to rest on her laurels, Roxie enlists the help of prison matron Mama Morton and slickster lawyer Billy Flynn, who turn Roxies’s incarceration into a murder-of-the-week media frenzy, thus preparing the world for a splashy showbiz comeback. But Chicago’s only big enough for one murderess celebrity...

The Brother’s Grimm Spectaculathon will be performing at Chelmsford High School tomorrow at 1:00! We will be representing Amesbury High School at the 2019 METG Drama Festival. All members of the cast and crew will be leaving AHS by 10:40 AM and are expected to wear their show shirts. We hope to see you there!

LOVE/SICK OPENS THURSDAY AT 7PM

John Cariani’s LOVE/SICK is a collection of nine slightly twisted and completely hilarious short plays. Set on a Friday night in an alternate suburban reality, this 80-minute romp explores the pain and the joy that comes with being in love. Full of imperfect lovers and dreamers, LOVE/SICK is an unromantic comedy for the romantic in everyone

The show will be taking place in the Amesbury High School Lawlor Auditorium April 5-7 at 7:00pm.
Tickets: $5 at the door as well as through presale (sold by any cast member)
