This is one of the hardest posts we have had to write, following the hardest decision we’ve had to make.
It is with a very, very heavy heart that we must announce the permanent closure of The Cornucopia.
When we opened in 2018, our aim was to create a unique offering in Ames. We have been constantly humbled by the positive feedback we've received, but always looked to ways we could improve. Opening, gave us the opportunity to meet amazing people in our community; many we now see as friends.
The last 18 months have been a challenge for everyone, especially the hospitality industry. We have ridden the storm, but a few additional waves have caused us to finally lead with the head, and not the heart.
Thank you to all that have supported us; it has been an absolute pleasure to serve you. We hope to do so again in the future.
