Hey, I am at the Community Resource Fair at the Ames Public Library until noon. Not many kids here, so come get as many balloons as you want!

Come to Dog-Eared Books on Ames Main Street on Saturday (1-3 pm) to get all the varieties of dogs that I know: dog on your arm, dog on a leash, poodle, wiener dog, wiener dog that swallowed a ball, walk-the-dog hat, puppy-dog-ears hat, and so on! (It'll be fun to see how creative you kids can get to get into the dog theme...)

My last public event of the year! There's hardly any line yet, so you should be able to get as many balloons as you want! Trick or treat at Compass Nutrition in the Huxley Plaza.

Fun at the Ames Main Street Farmers' Market today with a teddy bear bracelet and two flowers. I think that's why the teddy bear is so happy! I'll be gone the next three weeks and will miss these happy times (although I will probably get them at the Ames Bandshell Park, Collins Days, and Humphrey, NE).

Finished the cold and drizzly last Ames Main Street Farmers' Market of the season (other than the Christmas Market), but looking forward to being at Alluvial Brewing Company on Sunday (1 to 4 pm) for the Ames Community Food Raiser 2023. Bring a non-perishable food item and stay for refreshments and family activities!

Join us at the upcoming community event on Sunday October 15, 2023, from 1-4pm at Alluvial Brewing Company to support hunger relief!
