Drop-in Crafts: Be a maker when it works best for you! Drop in for our monthly crafts and occasional craft nights. Come solo or bring a friend and make something you'll love, or take your kit to go. All ages are welcome. Prices range from $8-$15. Paint Your Own Pottery: Pick your piece, paint it with bright, beautiful colors, and give us about a week to fire it for you. We have fun weekly themes,

and so many other items to choose from that everyone walks away happy! Paint in our studio or take a kit to go. All ages welcome. Prices range from $8-$20

Art Classes: Creativity is contagious, and our instructors are here to share their passions with you! Learn to throw pottery on the wheel, paint with oils or water media, solder metal for jewelry, stitch or sew, use machinery for wood projects, knit or crochet, melt glass into beads, or dance at our tango lessons. Options. Classes are for ages 18+ and prices vary based on supplies and time with instructor. Group Events: We love hosting groups! But we do need to know you are coming so we can give you the best experience. E-mail us what you want to do (Paint Your Own Pottery or Walk-in Crafts) and how many are in your troop, and we will work with you to set up a reservation. Check out our calendar on our website for a list of all events. Join us in the east basement of the Memorial Union on the beautiful Iowa State University campus in Ames. We are a little bit hard to find the first time, but the journey is well worth it. Craft on!

Build a ladder shelf that looks as good as the items you display on it. 📚🪴

Finished shelves will measure 4 feet tall and 30 inches wide with five tiers, ideal for displaying books, plants, artwork, and your favorite finds. Along the way, you’ll practice foundational woodworking skills like measuring, cutting, assembly, sanding, and staining while crafting a custom piece for your home.

Looking for a creative way to spend your Friday evening? 🎨🖌️

Grab a friend and join us for Paint By Number Fridays this Friday, June 12, from 4–8 PM! The theme is Vintage Vibes, featuring 6–8 nostalgic painting designs to choose from.

If you don't finish your masterpiece during the session, we'll send you home with extra paint and brushes so you can complete it at your own pace.

Join us for Analog Summer! Your chance to slow down, get creative, and reconnect with those near and far. Create handmade cards, postcards, and letter-writing stationery using our vast supply of papers, collage materials, ephemera, washi tape, fabric, and plenty of doodads for extra embellishment. We’ll also have paint, fancy markers, quality pens, lettering guides, tutorials, and design inspiration. ✈️ ✉️

This new drop in craft will be available until July 31!

Ready to get started in the woodshop? 🪵🔨

Join us for Woodshop Orientation on Tuesday, June 9th, from 5-8 pm. Learn the fundamentals of our woodworking equipment and which tool to choose for the job at hand. Practice using the machinery while making a handy key rack you can take home after class. Safety is a Workspace priority, so the orientation is required to use the woodshop independently.
