Debbie' started teaching art out of the basement of her home and it grew into a small little business where she can share her joy of painting. Debbie's Art Academy has now become mobile. Through birthday parties and paint night and paint classes.

Debbie's Art Academy has been running for 12 years now. So hard to believe that it all started in the basement of my home and it is now a mobile business. So many changes through out the years and I have taught so many children. I am so grateful that i was able to work from home and be with my children.

It's with a sad heart that I have to tell you all that I am retiring. I will not be doing anymore mobile art classes or summer camps. So no more Art Academy

I will honor those who still have a deposit with me and had to put off their party with COVID.

I will continue to do small private classes for children.

So I have to say goodbye and thank you all for all your support.

I have 4 spots left in my private art classes for ages 9 and up who have a super interest in art and want to develop it more.

Starting in July
Thursdays at 10-11:30.
Monthly tuition is $85. If there is a 5th month it's free.

When you pay please leave your EMAIL on venmo so I can send you the link.

Once payment is made I will send the link the day prior to class and it's open to whomever is in the house; 1kid or 2 or more. So it can be $15 for 1+ kids (how many want to join).

Two options:

1st: Pick up supplies from my house on the Monday before class, which I will have canvas and paints needed. Doing this option the cost would be $5 a kit. ( if u have 2 kids that need supplies thenbu would need to purchase 2 kits) (these kits to you are at cost).
You will need to have your own brushes.

2nd option: you supply your own supplies. Here is a list of items needed:

11x14 canvas (stretched or panels).

I large flat brush, 1 lrg round brush and 1 detail brush
or here is a set

Most of my classes are for ages 6 and up.

Colors needed: light blue, green, orange, brown, black and white

Apron is recommended
A paper plate for mixing colors
A plastic cup for water for rinsing brushes
A rag or paper towel to wipe off brushes

-I would also cover the table that you are using

This class you can use acrylics, tempera (which is cheaper and easier to clean up) or they can draw and color.
