Hi again everyone!
Here are Emily and Sunny's bio's. Little fact: Evelyn Hart, who trained Sunny, was one of Mark's dancing partner's when he danced with Royal Winnipeg Ballet.
Emily Thompson
Emily Thompson, a native of Fort Worth, Texas, began dancing at the age of two, after being prescribed ballet classes to treat her Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. Finding her passion, she left Texas to finish high school at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School, and later furthered her training in Toronto, Canada, with Evelyn Hart. She has danced as an Apprentice at Oklahoma City Ballet, and a Company Member at Ballet Palm Beach, Ballet Spartanburg, and Colorado West Performing Arts Company. She has danced some of her favorite roles with Canyon Concert Ballet, including Myrtha, in Giselle, Princess Florine, in The Sleeping Beauty, and Lady Capulet in Romeo & Juliet.
Sunny Hsieh
Raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sunny began training seriously under Evelyn Hart and later joined Orlando Ballet School as a Trainee. Sunny has danced professionally for Ballet Palm Beach, Ballet Des Moines, Ballet Spartanburg, and Colorado West Performing Arts Company. Sunny has been with Canyon Concert Ballet for the past three seasons under artistic director Michael Pappalardo. Sunny has performed a wide variety of roles such as Romeo and Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet, Harker in Dracula, Peter Pan, and Albrecht in Giselle. Sunny will be joining Cleveland Ballet for the 26-27 season.
