Mariah Wimmer came in today for a final session to wrap the last of a shoulder piece we started recently. It was originally started by her brother who was unable to finish it unfortunately. So I agreed to get it finished it up for him. I didn't change the outline design. But I did reshoot what was there & finished the rest so it would match the darker ink & everything would flow together seamlessly in one piece. I'm really pleased with it. It came out super smooth & stands out.
If you've got an old tattoo that needs to be fixed or finished, come see me, I can fix you up. Got one you want gone, cover ups are not a problem. Or you just want something new & fresh, come see me.
Walk ins are welcome. But as word getting out, spots are filling up. You can book ahead to reserve your spot if you need a specific time so you're not stuck waiting. We are open Sundays as well. So all of you Ai guys that only get one day off, you can book ahead for Sundays or your specific day off so we can make sure & get you taken care of.

A little cover up action.

My friend Addisyn Martinez came in today for a cover up. I've done several pieces on her over the years & she decided it was time for this one to go. So I covered it & started filling in around it. She's working on a eventual sleeve & it's coming together pretty nice. If you do a cover up & can't tell it's actually covering anything, I think that's a win. So I'm pleased with it. It came out really clean.
If you need something covered, come see me & I'll do my best to make the old one go away.
Tomorrow the " Great American Race " will be on 6th street. I think there's supposed to be close to 170 cars from the Classic to '72 muscle cars. And 30 show cars from this area & all across the country. 6th will be closed to vehicle traffic like it was for the centennial.
To celebrate the event, we will be doing $66 & $166 Route 66 tattoos. Come check out all the cool cars from around the country & then stop by to cool off while you get a new Route 66 tattoo. It's going to be busy. So you're welcome to book ahead to reserve your spot. We look forward to seeing yall there.

This was a cool piece. It's actually a memorial piece commemorating times spent fishing with that family member that's no longer here. I always like doing the memorial pieces. & this came out pretty cool. He's got a couple more to go & already sent me pictures for the next one. I'm looking forward to having him back & hopefully doing those memories justice.
Believe it or not, this is not the first fishing piece I've done. It seems like allot of folks have the one person on their life that was the avid fisher. I have memories with several family members as a kid growing up myself.
If you have memories of a loved one you would like to put in ink, holler at me. It's a great way to carry those loved ones with you & those cherished memories.

Had a couple of guys come in that wanted matching tattoos marking their birthdays.
Then I had a married couple come in that wanted a couples tattoo. Super fine line single needle detail. Nice folks.
Then another youngster I started working on a while back. I think this is the 3rd piece he's come in for & wanted lightening all the way around his shoulder. As simple as it is, it's still a pretty intense tattoo to get. And he did great.
And the last one was a "Sparky" the electrical logo. This gentleman is a retired electrician & this was the logo for the company he worked for
Walk ins are welcome. But spots are filling up fast. To avoid the wait, you can book ahead so you spot is reserved.
In past years Saturdays & Sundays were busy on 6th street. Now days for whatever reason, Sundays are allot slower . We are open 7 days a week. All of you Ai guys that only have Sundays off, we can get you in & fixed up. Generally without any wait so you can go on about enjoying the rest of your day off. Come see us

My friend Roxanne Stark came in for another session on her full color sleeve we started a while back. I think I used a pattern for the quote originally. But other than that, it's all a freehand piece. She's a trooper & sits through em like it nothing. Got a little spicey down around the elbow but she took it like a champ. Still have the other flower & tieing all of the filler together. But it's coming along nice. Bold & vibrant color!
Still have openings for this next week. For all of you Ai / Data Centers workers. I know y'all are working long hours almost 6 days a week. We're open on Sundays & it's not a problem to get you folks in on Sundays & taken care of. If you'll message or book ahead of time, I can have you a spot saved for when you get here.
