There’s just something about being on stage. ✨

The lights. The music. The nerves right before the curtain opens. And that feeling when all the hours in the studio finally come to life in front of an audience.

At The Edge, our dancers have the opportunity to perform in at least two professional productions every season—and this year, both will take place on the beautiful stage at the Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts.

It’s an experience we believe every dancer deserves, and just one of the many perks of dancing at The Edge.

There’s a reason we love dance so much for kids. They get to move, make friends, build confidence, work hard, be creative and just have FUN.

And with Season 19 right around the corner, we can’t wait to have our studios full again!

Whether your dancer is here because they love being in class or because they want to compete at the highest level, we believe in good training, great teachers and giving kids room to grow.

✨ INTENSIVE FACULTY ANNOUNCEMENT

We are so excited to welcome Averi Cross to The Edge! 💚

We are truly honored to bring Averi to Amarillo and have her joining us for our August Intensive. We can’t wait for our dancers to learn from her, be challenged by her, and experience everything she brings into the room.

We are SO excited for this one. Welcome to The Edge, Averi! 🖤💚 Check out her bio below!

Averi Cross is an award-winning dancer, teacher, and choreographer based in Texas and New York. She is also a representative of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City and travels around the country to give scholarships for their highly acclaimed dance program. Her performance credits include, the premiere and national tour of Tutti Frutti: The Life and Music of Little Richard, where Averi acted as Dance Captain, Todrick Halls national tour of Fairytaled, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, a featured actor in the limited series, Frenimes, The Sugar Bowl Halftime Show, a featured dancer at Pier 60 in New York City, a featured dancer with Edgewalkers NYC, and a featured choreographer and dancer at The St. Marks Theater in New York City. Averi also has judged for Celebrity Dance Competition and The Royal Dance Competition. When Averi isn’t performing or awarding scholarships, you can find her teaching and setting choreography for multiple studios and dancers around the country.
