Race Week!!!! Who's coming?!?!?!?

It’s almost time to close out the 2026 Amarillo Dragway season, and we’re doing it in a BIG way!

Friday, October 23 kicks things off with Test N Tune, giving everyone a chance to get those cars dialed in before Saturday.

Saturday, October 24, it’s time to race for one of the most coveted trophies in drag racing — an NHRA WALLY! The Wally is NHRA’s official event-winner trophy, named in honor of NHRA founder Wally Parks.

And there’s even more on the line:

🔥 DOUBLE POINTS
🏆 NHRA WALLYS
💰 BIG MONEY PAYOUTS
🏁 SUPER PRO • NO BOX • SPORTSMAN • JR. DRAGSTER

This one means a little more. After everything this season has brought us — the great racing, the heat, the rainouts, the long nights, the friendships, and the memories — we finally get the opportunity to finish what we started.

October 23–24. Amarillo Dragway.

Bring the family. Bring the race car. Bring your best package.

One final weekend. One final battle. One more opportunity to leave Amarillo Dragway in 2026 holding a WALLY! 🏆

Sunday, October 25 will be our rain date if needed.

There's something about the sound of engines, the excitement of a close race, and an ice-cold Coca-Cola that just feels like a perfect day at the drag strip! For generations, Coca-Cola has been bringing people together over refreshing drinks and shared moments, whether it's a family cookout, a ballgame, or an afternoon at the races.
We're thankful to have Coca-Cola as part of the Amarillo Dragway sponsor family.

Their support helps us continue creating the kind of race-day experiences that bring families, friends, and racing fans together. Here's to great racing, great company, and plenty of ice-cold Cokes along the way!

While most of us are still hitting the snooze button, the work is already underway at Osterkamp Dairy! Running a dairy takes dedication around the clock, from caring for the animals to managing the daily operations that help keep quality dairy products making their way to families.

That kind of commitment and work ethic is something we have tremendous respect for at Amarillo Dragway. Agriculture is such an important part of the Texas Panhandle, and we're proud to have Osterkamp Dairy as part of our sponsor family. Thank you for supporting local racing and the community we all call home!
