Located in the heart of downtown Amarillo in the historic bus station, The Derrick is the city’s most eclectic place to host an event. Whether you’re throwing a holiday party, a conference, or a wedding reception, we invite you to make our space yours for the evening. Constructed in the late 40’s as Amarillo’s Greyhound Bus Station, The building has served many uses. We are now pleased to open it

s doors to our community as a boutique event venue and fine art gallery. This Pueblo Art Deco gem was painstakingly restored and transformed over the course of three years to strike a balance between old and new and surpass its former glory, raising the event venue bar in downtown Amarillo. It now provides a unique backdrop for stylish celebrations, weddings, corporate events, and exclusive photo shoots. The Derrick’s versatile floor plan can accommodate a wide range of gatherings from an intimate dinner party to a grand seated dinner for 400 guests.
