Alvord EDC is VERY PLEASED to announce our latest project!
We recently completed an irrigation installation on our baseball and softball fields at Elm Creek Park. Now, we will be able to give the kids a safer playing surface, no matter where they play on the field. This 4 field, 144,000 sq ft, 3.5 acre project is NOT POSSIBLE without the community members and businesses support in this town.
How does EDC receive its money? We receive it through donations and a % of all sales tax revenue generated in Alvord, goes straight to the EDC. That money allows us to continue growth and invest in the future. So once again, thank you taxpayers, thank you businesses, thank you for spending your money in Alvord!
