OMS Visual Art Class This page is for the Ozark Middle School Art students.

The Ozark School District will host Chromebook Drive-Thru Returns this Thursday May 21st and Friday May 22 from 9am until 3pm for ALL Kindergarten-12th grade students.

Return locations are the Ozark Primary Campus car rider pickup line and the Ozark Middle School Campus (Altus) east building main entrance.

School staff will be on site to assist with dropping off your student’s Chromebook. This will be a drive thru service with no need to exit your vehicle. Please remember to bring the charging cord along with your Chromebook. If you have any textbooks, library books, or other school owned property, staff will be able to accept those items as well.

This week's AMI assignment is:

Catapult Construction: Build a catapult to toss something into the air, like a marshmallow or a cheese puff. Use materials you have around the house like a spoon or a wooden spoon, rubber bands, tape, sticks, a ruler, or other household items. Plan your catapult with a drawing. Build your prototype. Test it, and then adjust your design. Be sure to send me a pic or video of your catapult!

If building catapults is not something you would enjoy, create an artwork of your choice. An idea an artwork could be for you to photograph architecture. Examples of architecture could be your house, a shed or barn, a bridge, a tower, etc. Again, send me a picture of your photograph!

This weeks AMI for Art- Complete the “Presentation" assignment under Literacy Corner.

Presentation: Time for YOU to be the expert! Make a presentation about something you have learned this week. Be sure to include facts and pictures. This can be done on paper, poster, google presentation, etc. You can present for family at home or video chat with family and friends for a learning experience for all!

Be sure to send your language art teacher and me a picture of it!
