These are just some of the scholarships handed out at this year’s show. A scholarship means that the family will not be responsible for tuition for the entire 2026-27 dance year. This is a special opportunity for me because I get to give to dancers I feel have a heart for dance. I feel this is an investment in their futures because I strongly believe the kids who participate in dance studio are the kids who become successful. They will be more confident and ready to take on the world because dance demands individual dedication and hard work - just like real life! There is nothing in the world like the feeling they have when they come off that stage and I get to be in the front row for the whole thing. Congratulations, dancers!

And now a few of the RISING STAR award recipients… Rising stars chosen for their clear and immediately obvious talent for dance. They make it look easy to learn even when it’s not sometimes. These girls show respect for the class, the teacher, and the art. I’m always excited for these kind of dancers because it appears they just might love dance as much as I do. Congratulations, girls! ⭐️

Get your sunglasses on! These girls were named SHINING STAR at this year’s awards. To receive the shining star award you must be the kind of person who lights up the room, in any room you enter. The dance studio was no different for these girls. They are happy and kind and bring pure joy to me and everyone they encounter. Thank you for being such a light in this world! ⭐️

Here’s a couple of the girls who were awarded with the GOLD STAR award! To receive a GOLD STAR means that they are very dependable. I can always count on them to be in class ready to listen and learn and do their very best. They are a good example of the way every dancer should act to be able to take in everything their class has to offer. Great job, girls!

Shooting Star is given to those who I feel have really taken off throughout the year. Your eye always goes to them again and again for being stand outs in their group. They are easy to spot and so fun to watch. They know every step and always practice as if they were performing. Congratulations to these SHOOTING STARS! ⭐️🤓

I’m sharing the awards given at recital to this year’s outstanding dancers along with the description of the trophy they received.
These girls got to bring home the ROCK STAR hardware.
This award is chosen for the dancer who shows a big personality, a loud performance, and of course, can ROCK her choreography. The rock star recipients are always fun to watch!

Here we go! It’s time to celebrate all the award winners at the big show. These kids were chosen from nearly 200 dancers at the studio.

These are only some of the Class Act recipients this year. Class Act kids are chosen for the following and the whole class must be able to do it all:
Be prepared for class by always having required dance wear and shoes.
Be a good listener.
Have a good attitude.
Practice and know choreography each week.
Be a good helper.
Come to class with the goal of being ready and excited for performance.
Congratulations to the boys class and the part 2 scientists! 🤓⭐️
