The Past is Present, Altoona City Hall Public Sculpture

The Past is Present, Altoona City Hall Public Sculpture "The Past is Present" is a public art project that will be installed in the new Altoona city hall in the spring of 2020.

This project is a cast iron sculptural mural that revolves around memories and lore collected from the Altoona community.

I'm starting the casting process for "The Past is Present" and I would really like to include as much metal sourced from the Altoona community as possible. If you have any scrap cast iron like tubs, old radiators, sinks, etc. and would like to see this melted down and cast into this public sculpture please contact me. I'll be happy to come by and pick it up.
