DANNY AND THE DEEP BLUE SEA
West Coast–raised and LA-based, Dani Reynolds blends classical roots with bold experimental storytelling. From opera and Shakespeare to producing with Electric Opera Company and earning her MFA at University of Southern California, Dani’s work spans music, physical theatre, and immersive performance. She co-founded Fever Dream Theater and directed the dance-theatre piece All You Seek with The Humble Boys, and stars in the feature film The Disinvited, available on Apple TV, Amazon, Google, and YouTube.

We are thrilled to have Dani as our director for this show and are so excited to have her bringing to life this powerful and iconic work of John Patrick Shanley! 🎭

Dear Friends & Family –
In case you have not yet heard, Jeff/Geoff passed away very suddenly in January. We will be celebrating his joyous and exuberant life on Sunday, May 25th at 2:00pm (central daylight savings time in the US). We would love to have you join us in person, if that works for you. We will also be on Zoom, so friends and family from afar can join us too. We plan to have time for people to share stories and memories. We expect some tears but lots of laughter too.

Dear Friends and Family ~ Thank you all for your kind words and wonderful memories of Jeff/Geoff. We miss him so much, but we are feeling the love and support from so many people and feeling so grateful. We are planning a Celebration of Life service - his life definitely deserves celebrating! - Sunday, May 25 at 1:00pm in Elsah, IL. We plan to share the celebration on zoom and hope that those who can't be there in person to celebrate and share memories will join in over zoom. More info to come. Jeffrey Callaway Steele AKA Geoff Callaway (also known as Dadden, Jefe, and Big Dog) has exited this stage of life to continue his wonderfully unique and joyous journey -- acting, writing, producing, directing, telling stories and jokes, loving and laughing, enjoying friends, family, and all of life. We sure wish we could continue to hear his stories, laugh at his humor, dialogue with him about anything and everything, rant about politics, and dive deep into metaphysics. He was a man of many talents, deep faith, and endless wit.
His passing was sudden and unexpected, but the love he gave, the legacy he built, and the lessons he taught let him live on forever. The deluge of love and support of so many family and friends is the best example of how much of a blessing he has always been. We know that he is continuing to have those crazy adventures, tell jokes, share witty word play and puns, and live his eternal life to the fullest. We wish he could share it with us – he loved an audience.
Please share your memories, stories of adventures, escapades, slightly illegal activities, and joyous experiences with Jeff. Chrissy plans to create a memory book to chronicle the life and times of this extraordinary man. Pictures are welcome too.

If you want to make a donation in his name, we are setting up the Dr. Jeffrey C. Steele Endowed Fund for College Mediation. He did amazing work as the coach of the Principia College mediation team, blessing so many students with his coaching, mentorship and love. More info to come. We will also have a celebration of life service sometime this spring – more on that soon.

THE APOLOGY: Every guy screws up a relationship once in a while. But not like “This Guy”. One apology leads to another…and another…and another. Gosh darn it, he’s sorry. He’s really, really sorry.
SANTA FE: Tell and Palmer believe they are trapped by their middle class lives. Over one too many tequilas they try to find their way out. Will a “typical American move” be enough?

In loving memory of our dear friend, we are sorry to share that one of our Founding Members, Jeff Steele (aka Geoff Callaway), passed early this week. Known for his big heart, cheerful spirit and the constant twinkle in his eye, he served Bankside as an actor, director, playwright and the company Producing-Director. Much love to his friends and family, as we join in cherishing the joy he brought to all of us, both as a performer and as a friend.
