SENIOR SPOTLIGHT!!! Next up, is Ava! Aves has been dancing here for forever and we will miss her next year!

1. How long have you been dancing at ADA?
13 years!
2. Favorite type of dance?
Hip Hop or Ballet
3. Favorite dance you’ve done at ADA
Black Parade my Freshman year!
4. Best ADA memory
Every reveal day! I love learning what we’re going to be focusing on for the next few months and seeing everyone’s reaction is so sweet. My favorite thing is seeing how excited everyone gets for the seniors and how we all tear up.
5. What had dance taught you that you will carry with you?
Dance has taught me that confidence is one of the most powerful things a person can have. Without dance I would not have the confidence in myself that I do today and I wouldn’t be able to dance, or speak, in front of a crowd of people.
6. Favorite music artists?
Gracie Abrams
7. Favorite food?
Taco salad or pasta
8. Favorite thing to do besides dance?
Hanging out with friends
9. Future plans
I’m planning on attending Pace University in NYC and majoring in English Language and Literature.

ADA loves our seniors and first up in the series is Genevieve 💜 She answered some questions Miss Ashley had asked so you can all get to know her! We are so proud of you!

1. I have been dancing at ADA for six years, and overall for sixteen years.

2. My favorite types of dance are contemporary and pointe.

3. My favorite dance I’ve done here is “spice up your life” for character.

4. My best ADA memory is when I found my best friend.

5. Dance has taught me there is only one reason to do it, because you want to. I will carry this with me through every decision I make because it may seem simple but it has a subtle self strength behind it.

6. My favorite music artist is Guns & Roses.

7. My favorite food is soup.

8. My favorite thing to do besides dance is to sing.

9. My future plans are to take self defense classes, be a better version of myself and to understand the universe a little.
