🎉 Congratulations to Rachel Moore! 🎉

Her incredible entry has been selected as the Altamont Fair’s Best in Show in Arts & Crafts, which means her work will move on to the New York State Fair to be judged in the special “County Fair” competition.

Each year, county fairs across New York send their top Arts & Crafts winners to represent their community at the State Fair, and we are so proud to have Rachel’s talent representing the Altamont Fair this year!

🎡 Thank You for an Unforgettable Week at the Altamont Fair! 🎠

As we look back on the past week, one thing is crystal clear: this fair takes a community. And we are incredibly grateful for ours.

From the barns to the museums, the midway to the grandstand, the food stands to the show rings, every corner of the fairgrounds came alive because of the people who filled them.

To everyone who volunteered, worked, performed, exhibited, competed, set up, served food, operated rides, cared for animals, worked behind the scenes, or simply came through the gates ready to enjoy the fair — thank you.

To our vendors and concessionaires, entertainers and performers, exhibitors, volunteers, staff, partners, midway crews, and the countless people working behind the scenes: you are what makes six days at the Altamont Fair possible.

And to our fairgoers: thank you for spending part of your summer with us. Thank you for bringing your families, meeting your friends, cheering from the grandstands, visiting the barns, riding the rides, eating the food, and making memories here with us.

Because of all of you, we're already looking forward to doing it again.
