Good morning, everyone. Due to the outlook of severe weather today, it has been decided that the band and choir concerts will be postponed. The new date is Saturday, May 2, (following the alumni banquet). The band concert will take place at 3:00PM and the choir concert will be at 4:30PM. Thank you for understanding.

We had an outstanding day in De Soto at the KSHSAA 4A State Solo and Ensemble Festival! First, a huge thank you to Mr. Randy Blackwell, T.J. Terrell, and Megan Gabehart for helping out! The biggest thank you goes out to Mrs. Cindy Rucker for not only helping today, but also for accompanying all of our events. You are amazing, Cindy. Also, thanks to our bus drivers, Dave and Denise, for being willing to drive to and from De Soto. ❤️

Gold Ensemble- 1 (with a Perfect Score!)

Congrats to the band students who performed at regional solo and ensemble festival today! Huge thanks to Cindy Rucker for accompanying for us today. We walked away with some great ratings:

Annie Spencer, alto sax solo - 1

I am extremely proud of our choir students’ performances today at the KSHSAA Regional Music Festival! Thank you to Mrs. Cindy Rucker for accompanying our groups and to Mr. Seth Roach for accompanying Aidan. Thanks also, Mrs. Megan Gabehart for helping us out last week, giving amazing feedback, and for turning pages today.
Here are the ratings:

Chorus= 1 (69/80)
Gold Ensemble= 1 (76/80)
Bella Voce= 1 (78/80)
Men’s Ensemble= 1 (77/80)
Aidan Gibbs (solo)= 1 (70/80)
