Camp Norge is nestled in the mountains in Alta, California. The facility consists of 46 acres in forested setting with a spectacular natural meadow.

Camp Norge is a 46 acre facility boasting camping, lodging, youth heritage camps, folk workshops, recreation activities, and a pool for Sons of Norway members in District 6. The camp is available for day-use, overnight, and special events. The facility offers RV and tent sites, in addition to numerous lodging options including the historic main house, cozy cabins, and three rustic dormitories. The

re are two group event spaces, the Social Hall complete with a full kitchen can accommodate up to 60 guests, and the Heritage Hall which offers a full commercial kitchen can accommodate up to 100 guests. The camp also offers a pool, firepit, and horseshoe pits. Mountain bike trails are plentiful in the area and it's only a short 30-minute drive from the camp to reach world-class ski resorts the area making it a great place to stay for your next mountain adventure. Located right off on I-80, just 1 hour from Sacramento. Camp Norge is a great destination for weddings and family reunions!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first Spring Workday! We planted 15 trees, painted, cleared fallen trees, and cleaned.

I'd you missed it, we have another workday coming up on May 30th. Work Party volunteers can stay at Camp for free for the weekend and food is provided.

Camp Oldfjell is in full swing!

Our summer camp for adults, Camp Norge is filled with workshops ranging from wood carving to basket weaving to Scandinavian baking and so much more!

Participants joined from three different states this year. It's amazing to watch the camaraderie and friendships built over laughs, campfires, and new experiences.
