Tyson Bice
Mid 40’s. He is a workaholic who solely loves money. He has neglected his family because of his love for his work. Every problem or void in his life has been filled with more work and more greed. He could have been a great country singer but his love for money has buried that part of him. He has a good sense of humor, both in sarcasm and physical humor.

Sue Bice
Early to Mid 40’s. “Midwestern Housewife”, Sue is married to TYSON. She is very soft spoken but can defend herself when needed. She has a deep love for people and always gives to others before herself. She would do anything to keep her family together, but also isn’t a pushover.

Meghan Bice
21 and 17 years old. She is the daughter of SUE and TYSON. She is an excellent softball player. She believes in true love and is a romantic dreamer. She believes her parents have the perfect relationship. She is smart and charming with a good sense of humor. She loves life and is a daddy’s girl through and through.

Joseph
Mid 40’s. Joseph is African American. He is TYSON’s best friend. He is super wise and would give the shirt off of his back for anyone in need. He is spiritual, and seems to be the guy all of his friends and family turn to when they are in need of good advice. He has a very positive outlook on life and loves to be a friend to anyone and everyone.

Supporting Roles

Donna
Mid to Late 30’s. She is a beautiful, sassy, redneck woman that has been beaten down by a difficult rural life in a small farming community as a single mother to TESS. She is very independent, by nature of her situation. Because there has never been a baby daddy in the picture, she has not been able to shake the small town rumor mill's image of her as the town floozie.

Laura
30’s. Laura is the embodiment of god. Laura appears as a beautiful bartender that is wise beyond comprehension. She helps TYSON when he is at his lowest points. She gives him guidance. She isn’t preachy and allows Tyson to choose for himself not taking away from his agency. She is very kind and loving.

Tess
16 years old. She is the daughter of DONNA. She is good friends with MEGHAN but she also is depressed and holds anger towards her Mom because of not knowing who her father is. She has never had a father figure in her life and longs to have a relationship with her Dad if she ever gets the chance to meet him.

Hal
Mid to late 40’s. Hal is a total redneck. Hal is very quirky, weird and says everything that comes into his mind. He never left the small town so he knows nothing of the highlife. He grew up as a good friend to Tyson. He is like an uncle too Megan. He is very loyal to Tyson and Sue and would do anything for them.

Smaller Supporting

Doug
Late 30’s to early 40’s. Doug works for Tyson. Tyson doesn’t care for Doug. Doug is a procrastinator. He gets the job done but not in the timing Tyson wants. He has a very dry sense of humor.

Jennifer
20’s. Jennifer is working her first job out of college as a secretary to Tyson. She is corky and does what she is told, but gets flustered quickly.

Kara
Late to mid 40’s. Kara is Sue’s sister. She is very loving and cares for her sister and her needs beyond belief. She and her husband have money and are always wanted to help out anyway that they can.

Nightclub Host
30’s. He owns the Westin dance club/bar. He hosts events at the club. He is the type of guy that thinks he is funny but no one ever laughs at his jokes, but he is able to laugh at himself and his jokes.

Nurse Betty
50’s-60’s. Betty is a fun loving nurse. She loves to have fun and make people laugh. She loves what she does. She always wants to put a smile on people’s faces that she interacts with.

Umpire
30’s-50’s. The umpire is funny. He loves to ump softball but also doesn’t take any crap from the calls he makes. If you heckle him you will be tossed and he’ll make you an example.

Linda
late 40’s early 50’s. Linda is in a nursing home. Not because she is old but she is a single mom that had an accident that made it so she couldn’t take care of herself and she didn’t want to put the burden on her daughter Clair. She is sweet and loving. She loves music and just being alive.

Clair
20 years old. She just finished with high school and works at the local farming store in town. She is sweet and is a hard worker trying to take care of her sick mother but longs to earn enough money to go to college someday. She isn’t afraid to ask for help from others. She is strong and very charming.

Dr. Shay
Mid 30’s. Dr. Shay is a good doctor working in a small town. Has come to appreciate the laid back farm community lifestyle. She is a none BS type of doctor. She says it how it is. Has a great sense of humor… for a doctor.

Dr. Thomas
40’s. Dr. Thomas is a good doctor. He likes what he does. He is a very no BS type doctor and doesn’t do a lot of small talk. He isn’t rude but also isn’t a very humorous type of guy.

Fireship Films is looking for cast for a feature film set to film summer of 2013. We are doing a spec shoot for the feature film 23-24 of Feb. This is non paid but think of it as an audition for the feature film. Please let me know if you are interested in any of the parts or know of anyone that might be.

Noah

Age: Early to Mid Teens
Gender: Male

Characteristics:

Noah is the smart, inventive member of the group. He is very modest and prone to torture from Ronald. He lacks the initiative to lead the gang, but he makes for a good second in command and navigator. He and Art, through their similarities, grow to be very close.

Appearance:

Noah is tall and lanky, very well groomed. When he first appears in the film, his hair is parted neatly down the center.

Ronald

Age: Early to Mid Teens
Gender: Male

Characteristics:

Ronald is a very talkative boy, he loves the sound of his own voice over others. He is very opinionated and not afraid to say what’s on his mind although he tends to be wrong most of the time. He is also a pessimist at times. He is seen as the little brother that always needs to be watched over.

Appearance:

Ronald is stocky and chubby, always red in the face. He is very out of shape, getting tired after running a short distance.
Ron

Art

Age: Early to Mid Teens
Gender: Male

Characteristics:

Arthur or Art, is the leader of the gang. He is a smart boy, but somewhat shy and soft spoken. During his time as leader of the gang, he grows to be strong and a valued friend among the kids. When his mind is set to do something, he is determined to succeed, this sometimes come as his greatest downfall. Art spends most of his time reading and researching various topics so he is book smart. When it comes to applicable knowledge, he falls to Noah for the answers. Art is essentially the dreamer. His dynamic helps them grow close.

Appearance:

Art is the average boy, he doesn’t care to make the effort to stand out. To his dismay, he is shorter than Emily and has softer features.

Paige

Age: Early to Mid Teens
Gender: Female

Characteristics:

Paige is kind, smart and attentive. She takes on the mothering nature when in the presence of her friends, when she speaks, they tend to listen. She can be very matter- of-fact, telling others how things are going to be, especially to Ronald. She is more mature than the others and takes on an optimist nature to counteract Ronald’s pessimism.

Appearance:

Paige is a lady; she loves to wear dresses and to have her hair done. She is the type of girl that would intimidate another with her brains and charm although it doesn’t reflect in her nature. She is always well groomed

Emily

Age: Early to Mid Teens
Gender: Female

Characteristics:

Emily, the younger sister of Art, is outgoing and a tomboy. She has all of the charisma that Art lacks; has always been active and easy to get along with. Although she is a tomboy, she is a pretty young girl who looks out for her older brother, making sure he is able to strive in his life. She is tough, able to keep up with the boys in any game and even better in some.
Appearance:

Emily hates to wear dresses, preferring a decent pair of pants instead, so that she is better able to run after a ball. She is the opposite of Paige; short hair cares little abouther appearance when she is out playing. She is also taller than Art.

Hershel

Age: 40s
Gender: Male

Characteristics:

Hershel is a brave man. Although a thief, he holds himself to a standard; a saying that best describes him: “There is no honor among a thief, but there is among man.” He lives by that saying, refusing to kill unless necessary and will never betray a comrade.


Characteristics:

He is best friends with Reese and together, they set out in search of the Iron Door. Being the polar opposite of Reese, Mordecai is a knowledgable, level headed man who is ahead in his years on wisdom.

Appearance:


He and Reese run a ranch together where they work to support themselves, and in Mordecai’s case, his wife. Because of his work at the ranch, he is a tall man with a strong build.

Reese

Age: 30s
Gender: Male

Characteristics:

Reese, or Maurice, is Mordecai’s companion in search of the Iron Door. Although ambitious in nature, Reese is rather gullible and becomes obsessive over menial tasks. He lives the life of a bachelor, hopping from one lover to the next, with no intent to settle down.

Appearance:

Reese also works on the ranch, so like Mordecai, he is built strong, but he is smaller than Mordecai in stature.
