Grizzly 399 Limited-Edition Maquettes!
We are thrilled to announce that official bronze maquettes celebrating Grizzly 399 and her four cubs are now available to Pre-Order! Foundry casting time is approximately 4 months.

The 9" maquette will be available at the National Museum of Wildlife Art Gift Shop in Jackson, WY, with availability expected in January/February 2027.

All sizes (9", 14", and 18") are available directly through our studio and can be pre-ordered with a 50% deposit through our online store on our Monument page. Prices are subject to increase beginning November 1, 2026, after this Special Pre-Order phase.

Our Studio’s Local Conservation Commitment:
To honor 399’s legacy, our studio will be donating a portion of proceeds from every small bronze sold through the museum store directly to Jackson Hole Bear Solutions, helping to supply local bear-proof trash containers in Jackson Hole.
(Note: Our studio will handle these remittances directly and takes zero tax write-offs on these contributions—100% of these allocated funds go straight to work on the ground to keep local bears safe).

"Reducing conflict with humans is one of the easiest and most impactful ways to help grizzly bears. In 2022, Wyoming Wildlife Advocates launched Jackson Hole Bear Solutions after the world-famous Grizzly 399 and her four cubs began roaming Teton County and repeatedly getting into attractants. Their story was a wake-up call: even the most beloved bears are at risk when human food sources are left unsecured. We knew we had to act - and fast.
"Since then, Jackson Hole Bear Solutions has supplied over 1,400 bear-resistant trash cans to residents of Teton County. Each bin represents a home, a family, and a neighborhood where conflict with bears has been dramatically reduced. Human trash is the number one attractant for bears seeking food. Once they find it, they keep coming back - leading to damaged property, unsafe encounters, and, too often, the death of the bear. By securing attractants, we can stop this deadly cycle before it begins.
"But the need is far greater than what we’ve already accomplished. Too many households still lack bear-resistant cans, and every unsecured garbage can puts people, pets, and bears at risk. That’s why we offer subsidies - so that bear-safe communities are not a luxury, but a necessity available to everyone.
