August’s gem — Peridot 💚

Peridot is often associated with renewal, growth, positivity, and new beginnings — which feels pretty fitting for all those fresh, vibrant greens.

For this one, I decided to paint a raw crystal form rather than as a polished gemstone. I love the imperfect shapes, layers of green, and the way a crystal gives me a little more freedom to let the watercolor do its thing.
