We have started rehearsals for our first show of the season, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown! We can't wait for this feel-good musical to take the stage.
In a musical all the songs have to be learned and memorized before acting and choreography can be started. Jean Martin-Baker and Nick Stone are working so hard with the cast. This cast has superb voices and the harmonies are wonderful. Hats off to Jean and Nick for helping these actors soar!!

We had our Annual Banquet tonight! At the banquet there were two Awards given out by President Julie Meyers. Dani Ayotte was awarded the President Award for her many hours of volunteering in plays as an actress, stage manager, assistant director, and many other behind the scenes work. Dani always has cheerful attitude and a willingness to help! She states that the Civic is one of her “happy places! “

The second award handed out was to Jim Phillips. Jim has spent many behind the scenes at the Civic fixing, replacing, installing all kinds of equipment to keep the building in good condition. Jim also has put a lot of time into meetings with the public and making it possible for the Civic to grow and prosper! Jim and his wife Rosina also spent time acting on the stage during their many years of volunteering there. The Member at Large award will be given in future years to those volunteers who have been faithfully working and helping at the Civic- Jim Phillips this Award is very well deserved!!!!
