Alpena Lights Lights-to-Music Show has officially started.
6 to 10pm Sunday to Thursday.
6 to 12am Friday & Saturday.
6 to 12am Christmas Eve & Day.
Last Show Day is January 4, 2026.

Tune to 102.3 FM to hear the show.
We are at 227 W Washington Ave, Alpena
Having a large volume of songs there are 2 slightly different playlists made. Each Playlist is just over an hour long. One playlist will run on Even Days & the other will run on Odd Days. This is to give a family a choice to see the show a little different than the other night if visiting around the same time.

Alpena Lights Christmas Lights-to-Music Show is officially started.
Show Times are 6-10 Sun-Mon, 6-12 Fri & Sat,
Final show New Years Eve is 6-2am. Tune to 102.3 FM to hear the show.
We have made 2 different playlist. One for even days & one for odd days.
Both playlist have the same songs & jokes but are in different order. ☃️
So it's like getting 2 free shows for the price of 1.

Sorry, City of Alpena. I never thought that one's hobby would cause so much chaos! We've been asked why we do Lights-to-Music Shows? Sometimes I wonder why myself. The programming, the setup, the wiring, repairing bad lights (Santa 3x), then there's the take down and storage. It's a lot of work for one old man.

The past weeks I've seen cars showing up before the show starts. Cars coming and going, people recording & standing outside enjoying the show. It kind of makes one feel their efforts to share are worthwhile.

However seeing the HUGE flow of traffic with cars parked everywhere sure looked like chaos but everything worked out. We where shocked to see a school bus even stop to watch our Christmas Show!

What we saw last night made everything worthwhile and the Best Christmas Gift one could receive from visitors near & far!
Sorry, City of Alpena, We will keep doing our Lights-to-Music Shows as long as we are able!!
