Check out the full story on ACGG's first event of the year, "Let's Remix this S**t!" The three projects that came out of this short 10 minute event were a wonderful addition to our library. Truly thankful for all of our great designers this year!

It's a Wonderful Life is a remix of the Monopoly. While Monopoly is focused on individual game-play of building up your property base, It's a Wonderful Life focuses on a team effort to take out the dreaded loan shark that is ruling the land.

Rule of Thumb is a loose, loose remix of the classic paper-pencil game: Tic-Tac-Toe. While Tic-Tac-Toe focuses on getting three X's or O's in a row, Rule of Thumb focuses on drawing triangles and being the last one standing.

Construct and Destroy (C&D) is a remix of the classic tower-balance game Jenga. While Jenga focuses on trying to keep a block tower standing, C&D focuses on destroying block towers. This concept was invented in 10 minutes during ACGG's Game Remix event.

Mark Brown produces a YouTube channel called Game Makers Tool Kit (GMTK). There he creates many series which involve level design analysis, mechanic analysis, and much more!

He just hosted a 48-hour GMTK Game Jam for 2018, and boy are the results from this event are stunning! Check it out!

The Guild just had our first design meeting for the year! A wonderful group of new students came in and joined the Guild! We hosted a game design remix where students fundamentally changed the mechanics for Monopoly, Jenga, and Tic-Tac-Toe! Outlines of the new mechanics being made available to the public soon.
