My obsession with fiber arts started in Upstate New York, when I took my first knitting class. After collecting a hefty stache of yarn, I decided to start making my own. I began with a drop spindle and some roving, until eventually I got my first spinning wheel. I was attending art school when I decided to launch my Etsy. Even though I was living in a tiny New York City dorm, I managed to cram in

my wheel. Today I have more equipment and space, however the process stays the same. I source my wool from local farmers and am committed to making ethical and unique yarns. I am inspired by unique textures and elements in nature. I often use raw materials such as wool locks and recycled materials in my yarn. In mills, bits of fiber that are not uniform get discarded. I feel that this is a great waste and embrace the non uniformity or art yarns. Experimenting with new fibers, colors and methods is what I love to do best.
