An advanced scene study class designed for experienced actors ready to deepen their craft through rigorous, text-driven work. The class emphasizes specificity, emotional availability, and bold choices, with detailed feedback and in-depth exploration of each piece.
The Prepared Actor -Audition Techniques for Drama School:
A focused preparatory class for students applying to college drama programs, designed to guide actors through the competitive audition process with confidence and clarity.
Students work on selecting and refining contrasting monologues, building a strong audition package, and developing a clear sense of personal artistry. The class includes coaching on technique, presence, and storytelling, as well as practical guidance on applications, resumes, and audition expectations.
Grad School Audition Workshop: Selecting, Preparing, and Performing:
A specialized class for actors preparing to apply to graduate-level training programs. Actors work on advanced monologue selection, heightened text analysis, and fully realized, nuanced performances that reflect depth, range, and a clear artistic voice. The class emphasizes specificity, vocal and physical precision, and confident ownership of the room, along with individualized coaching to meet the expectations of top MFA programs.
Guidance on applications, interviews, and program fit is also included, helping actors navigate the process with clarity and professionalism as they take the next step in their training.
