This Saturday, after years away, Mike Celona comes home to Allentown.

And we’re doing this one differently.

No livestream.
No recordings.
No clips tomorrow.

Just one comic. One crowd. One night.

“One Mike.” is a homecoming, a comedy show and an experience that will only belong to the people in the room. There will be special guests, surprises and a few things we’re intentionally not telling you.

Because not everything needs to become content.

Sometimes you just have to be there.

“Make Me Laugh Monday” is TONIGHT with guest host Joe Ferraro!

For more than TWO YEARS, every other Monday, we’ve opened the mic and given comedians a room to try something new, bomb beautifully, find the joke and get better.

That’s investment. That’s commitment.

And with Year 2 of the Allentown Comedy Festival on the horizon, here’s another chance to get those reps in. 👀 More on that VERY soon…

We’re not a bar with a splash of creativity. We’re not owned by some giant corporation. All we do is art. We’re intentionally investing in artists and the arts from the ground level.

So come laugh. Bring a friend. And support a space that supports the hell out of you.

“Depression has a hard time hitting a moving target.”

I’ve always loved that line.

September is Su***de Prevention Month, and lately I’ve been reminded just how closely our physical and mental health are connected.

The past couple months have challenged me mentally in ways I haven’t talked much about. Some days, keeping my thoughts in check has been a moment-by-moment effort. And one of the things that continues to help me is movement.

Put the phone down. Go for the run. Lift something heavy. Walk around the block. Pick up the book. Do something difficult on purpose.

Sometimes physically proving to yourself that you can do hard things reminds your mind of the same thing.

That’s why “inkwell. Run Club” has never really been about the 5K or the group photo. It’s the people. The accountability. The friendships. The conversations afterward over “Well Water.” The new faces that keep showing up every week.

We’re building a community where people show up for themselves and for one another.

Movement isn’t a cure for everything. But it can be a powerful tool.

So this month, invest in your mental health…by moving your body.

You are stronger than you think. And you don’t have to do hard things alone.

The free music downtown will. 🎶

You may not know this, but outside of the dozens of tailored events at inkwell., our mural work and arts programming, a true l.o.v.e story. also produces live music, DJ and wellness activations throughout the city and beyond. Kyle Edwards | LEHIGH VALLEY MURALIST

For the past 18 weeks, we’ve been producing several free downtown events every single week: live music, DJs, Zumba, yoga, outdoor concerts and more across DLP Plaza, the ArtsWalk, outside Archer Music Hall, PPL Center and beyond.
