CALL FOR ART: We are currently accepting art donations for the bi-annual Small Works Art Auction! Since 2010, the William Allen Arts Alliance has raised significant funds for arts programs, providing students with field trips, studio upgrades, workshops, and much more. We hope you will consider donating a piece of your original artwork to support this year's fundraising event.

The auction reception will be held on Sunday, November 15th at Theatre514, across the street from Civic Theater (514 19th Street, Allentown). Artwork will be on display for public viewing during the week before the auction and will also be promoted online for purchase.

ARTWORK GUIDELINES:
We welcome one original work per artist. Works must not exceed 18" x 24." Any media accepted, including small 3-dimensional pieces. Work should be ready to hang; canvas sides must be painted unless framed. If your piece is under glass, please provide a high-resolution photo of the unframed work. The annual Allen Student Showcase is THIS Sunday afternoon at the Allentown Art Museum! This free event features a visual art exhibition as well as dance, music, and theatrical student performances. You won't want to miss it!

The third annual Off The Wall open-mic fundraiser hosted by the William Allen Arts Alliance was crammed with spectacular performances on the part of our students and faculty, and made even more enjoyable thanks to a spread of delicious snacks and an assortment of exciting raffle items donated by local artists and Allen teachers. It was a packed house, and we were treated to 18 performances this year, hearing from a wide variety of instruments and even catching some dance and poetry.

We're so grateful to everyone who participated, whether as a performer, an attendee, an alliance board member, or a participant in our extensive raffle. Thank you all! 😊💞 Here are a few photos from the event.

Due to weather-related disruptions to our students' regular academic schedule last month, we've decided to extend the deadline for this contest by an additional week. Spread the word to your creative friends!

Students, staff, faculty, alumni and anyone else with a connection to Allen is invited to submit a t-shirt design using the criteria listed on the flyer in the photo above.

Calling all WAHS alumni and Allentown businesses! The William Allen High School Theatre Department is currently accepting ads for placement in the 2026 Spring Musical Playbill. Ads are reasonably priced and will really help the theatre department pay for the show's production costs.
