In medieval Europe, it was believed that obtaining a piece of the bride's clothing or bridal bouquet would bring good fortune and increase the recipient's chances of finding a spouse or being the next to marry. To avoid having her gown torn apart, brides began tossing their bouquet into the crowd instead.

Today, it's a fun wedding tradition that symbolizes passing on love, luck, and the hope that the next person to catch the bouquet might be the next to say "I do!" 💍
