I first met Frank Howson in 2013 at rehearsals for the making of four excellent music videos under the title ‘Chopper the Musical’. I was asked to come along by Lucy Gale to do some publicity shots for her. I ended up witnessing a great deal of the production process over a number of weeks.

It was an awe inspiring collaboration between Frank and Warren and the very large entourage of some of Melbourne’s top singers, musicians, dancers and technical support.

Everyone who participated did proverbial back flips to do their part in excellence, ignited and fuelled along by Frank’s extraordinary and vast creative vision, talent and spirit.

Thanks for the memories Frank❤️

Welcome to St Kilda Arts Community

“The principal aim of the St Kilda Arts Community Inc. is to revitalise the local arts community by establishing connections with local businesses and the community with creative expression through organising, coordinating and promoting events and initiatives that will attract and engage patrons living within and visiting Port Phillip and St Kilda areas.”

Melbourne has long been recognised as the “Arts Capital of Australia” and St Kilda, a major tourist destination, has always played a major role in this recognition.

Art takes many forms and is created by people from many walks of life including painters, sculptures, musicians, actors, dancers, writers, film makers, architects, designers.... in fact everything we see, hear and feel has an artistic element.

Imagine an empty shop front being turned into a pop-up gallery, street performers entertaining while an artist demonstrates their skills, people chatting with creatives about their take on expression, artists and businesses connecting and selling their wares, theatres and venues offering all levels of entertainment, artistic food and beverage themes, the list is unlimited.
