We are one week away from Theater in the Park! Saturday June 20 and Sunday June 21 at 7:30p. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket, grab a SoDi drink and enjoy our rendition of Tales of O. Henry!

Auditions are coming up quickly for our Fall production of DREAMLAND! Auditions are June 14 and 15 from 5p-9p at the Griswold Auditorium! More information to come on the Audition Process.

Dreamland (or a musical riff on Shakespeare's Midsummer set during the declassification of Area 51) is exactly what the title says it is, or is it? Who thought it would be a good idea to give a group of high school honor students free rein in a top-secret military base two days before it opens to the public? Will there be aliens? Maybe. A show choir? Definitely. An over-the-top, B-movie-style musical comedy with a score that blends contemporary musical theatre pop with the smooth sounds of the 1950s, Dreamland is the brainchild of Chris Miller & Nathan Tysen, award-winning songwriters of Tuck Everlasting on Broadway

Auditions start THIS WEEKED!

Come out to the Griswold Auditorium to audition for our annual Theater in the Park from 6pm-8:30pm on Sunday and then again on Monday from 6pm-8:30pm.

Call for Auditions! 🎭

The Allegan Community Players will be holding auditions for our annual Theater in the Park production. This year we will be presenting "Tales of O. Henry," four short stories by the famous American short story writer O. Henry, adapted for the stage by ACP playwright Spike Kunetz.

Auditions will be held Sunday and Monday May 10 and 11, 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Griswold Auditorium, 401 Hubbard St., Allegan. No sign up is necessary, drop in. Casting adults of all ages.

The shows will be performed on Saturday and Sunday evenings, June 20 and 21, in the beautiful Mahan Park outdoor amphitheater. Details on rehearsals, character descriptions and audition sides are available at allegancommunityplayers.org/auditions.

Tonight is the second night of the 12th Annual One Acts Festival. Last night, Alien Nation defeated Moving Back causing the kids to lead 1 to 0 against the adults. Come check out our second matchup tonight between Priceless and oRANGE, with the doors opening at 6:30pm and the show starting at 7:00pm.
