It has been such a joy to see so many new faces filling our hall and stepping onto our stages during your first days at Soka. We’re so happy to have you here and to have shared in some of the first moments of your Soka journey.

Today, we join the world in mourning the loss of the incomparable Dolly Parton, whose extraordinary artistry touched generations.

For nearly six decades, Dolly transcended genres and generations, becoming one of the most beloved and influential artists in American music. A gifted songwriter and unmistakable voice, she gave the world timeless songs including 'Jolene', 'Coat of Many Colors', '9 to 5', and 'I Will Always Love You', while earning countless honors and inspiring generations of artists along the way.

Her songs will continue to be sung, her kindness remembered, and her remarkable light felt for generations to come.

From all of us at Soka Performing Arts Center, we extend our deepest condolences to Dolly Parton’s family, friends, fellow artists, and the millions around the world who loved her.

Behind every unforgettable concert, there are dedicated creators behind the lens making sure the magic lasts forever.

This , we are celebrating the incredible visual storytellers who document the history of our stage, starting with our House Photographer, Pablo Cabrera (), who has been capturing the spirit of Soka Performing Arts Center since 2019!

For Pablo, the magic is all in the moment: “What motivates me... is the challenge of anticipating emotion, movement, and light to create images that reflect the beauty and energy of each concert. Every concert is so different, and I am inspired to find the passion, dedication, and artistry that unfold on the Soka stage.”
