A world premiere for Season 10! Composer and Alfred native Gabriel Jenks performed a new work, ‘As Luck,’ on banjo with the International MostArts Festival Orchestra, conducted by Kathleen Horvath. Commissioned in celebration of the festival’s tenth season, Jenks described the piece as a cross between Vivaldi and Lester Flatt. What an exciting way to close out the Grand Finale Concert !

Still thinking about this one… Avery Gagliano returned to Miller Theater for the Grand Finale, our 2015 Grand Prize Winner, performing Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1 with the International MostArts Festival Orchestra. A full-circle moment ten years in the making, and worth revisiting even a couple weeks later 💐
