🎺 HEY BAND🎺
This will be a long message, so please take a few minutes to read it carefully!
First, I want to say THANK YOU to everyone for being flexible during this time. I am working diligently to keep our season alive!
I know there are a lot of issues with scheduling right now. I have addressed these concerns with the counselors, and they know who needs to be switched, added, or dropped. They also have 1,400+ other schedules to complete, so please be patient. We will get everything worked out!
📅 AFTER-SCHOOL REHEARSALS
We will rehearse on the ASH practice field on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
On Mondays, we will rehearse indoors at Calvary Baptist Church.

We will continue this schedule until school starts or a holiday occurs.
Students — Calvary Baptist Church has graciously opened their facilities for us to use. We will show the utmost respect and dignity wherever we go, but especially while we are guests at Calvary.
Parents — I am looking for chaperones to help while we are at Calvary to ensure behavior is monitored.
I cannot be in the building, near the bathrooms, down the hall, AND unloading the trailer all at the same time!

🏈 FOOTBALL GAME PARENT MEETING
Our next step will be an in-person parent meeting regarding football games.
As soon as I can secure a space, I will get the meeting scheduled and send out the information.
🎶 1-ON-1 LESSONS
I will post a document in Google Classroom where students can sign up for 1-on-1 lessons with me at Phoenix Elementary.
I will have THREE time slots available each day:
🕐 12:45–1:15
🕜 1:15–1:45
🕑 1:45–2:15
These will be FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED, so please sign up as soon as possible.
To make sure everyone has an opportunity, please limit yourself to ONE lesson per week.
Students must be prompt and on time and come prepared with everything you need/want to work on.
When you arrive, come to the front of the school and I will es**rt you to the cafeteria. Once your lesson is over, I will es**rt you back out.
