The people are everything. 💜
One of my favorite parts of every fiber festival isn't what comes home in the shopping bags—it's the friendships.
The friendors who become family. The hugs before the doors open. The selfies squeezed in between customers. The conversations that pick up exactly where they left off months ago.
For many of us, Hoosier Hills is the last show of the summer season. We pack up our booths, hug our friends, and promise to do it all again at the next one.
Thank you to every vendor, volunteer, customer, and friend who made this weekend so special.

Hoosier Hills Fiber Festival 2026 💜
What a weekend.
So many familiar faces. So many new customers discovering Laughing Cat Fibers for the first time. So many conversations about art, books, space, color, creativity, and making things with our hands.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth, squished yarn, adopted skeins, grabbed roving, scanned QR codes, supported indie designers, and shared your projects with me.
Seeing people connect with the colors and stories behind these yarns is why I do this.
My heart is full, my voice is gone, and the WIPoppotamus is headed home a little lighter than she arrived. 😸

I love this little show so much. 🧶💜
Hoosier Hills Fiber Festival always feels less like a festival and more like a giant fiber family reunion. So many friends, so much creativity, beautiful finished objects, vendor dinners, yarn enabling, laughter, hugs, and one last big celebration before summer show season winds down.
Every year I leave exhausted, inspired, and already excited for the next one.
