The DC Concert Orchestra Society is the corporate umbrella for three musical organizations:

-The DC Concert Orchestra (DCCO), a high quality, non-professional, 80-piece symphonic orchestra, performing 3 or 4 concerts per season. Specializing in contemporary and modern music with an American focus.

- The DC Chamber Musicians (DCCM). An alliance of adult, non-professional musicians who share a pas

sion for chamber music. DCCM performs 4 concerts per season, as well as offering professional coaching, master classes and other services to chamber musicians wishing to raise the level of their performance quality.

- Classical Musicians of Metro DC (CM-MDC). A large metropolitan area network of chamber musicians interested in casual (non-performance) gatherings for rehearsal of chamber music. Mission Statement: The DC Concert Orchestra Society brings classical music to the metropolitan region while providing performance opportunities and continuing education for non-professional adult musicians to enjoy a lifetime of music-making. Through the DC Concert Orchestra, DC Chamber Musicians, and the Classical Musicians of Metro DC, the Society seeks to provide playing opportunities and quality performances for diverse audiences, communities, enriching the cultural life of greater Washington.
