Teen Trek campers got a bear-y special behind-the-scenes experience! 🐻

Campers spent time learning about Alexandria Zoo’s American black bears, Chipp and Obie, and Andean bear, Chaska, while helping keepers with some of the daily care that goes into keeping their habitats clean, healthy, and enriching.

They helped place food, assisted with outdoor habitat cleaning, and watched a training session with Chipp and Obie, getting a closer look at how keeper care, trust, and teamwork support the animals every day.
