Sharyn won ribbons on the last two quilts I posted at the MN quilt show!! Congrats to us! I get a ribbon for each also how cool is that. Her 1876 quilt got juried in to The American Tradition special exhibit at the International Quilt Festival in Houston in November so it has to be sent down this week.

A dear friend had me quilt her shimmering quilt. I love the batik choices and the design. I may have to make one myself. My paisley hand driven design is one of my favorites. It creates movement without distracting from the quilt itself. It just creates lots of movement.
