It’s official. Signed at 7:04AM. It was even on TV. Mine really turned blue. Don't forget that tomorrow starts the new Facebook rule (aka... new name, META) where they can use your photos. Don't forget the deadline is today!!!

Remember the new Facebook rule that you may use your data and photos starts tomorrow. Remember the deadline is TODAY!!!
When your data and photos can be used against you even legally. And everything you post is public even deleted messages.

So glad you’re here! Here’s a bit about me. I’m a full time artist with a passion for my faith and art. I taught for years and when I left the school scene I still had a passion for sharing how to integrate Islam with art. The pandemic time allowed me to explore how to share these projects through videos. Art for me has always been therapeutic and I especially saw how my students benefited from the calm spaces art provides within us. It also was a place where kids could express themselves without the need for words or specific rules. For my diverse students art additionally provided a place where they could be represented, seen, and heard. Other than these videos I offer downloadable coloring pages because, well I’ve always loved coloring! It helps me clear my head. The pages are a creative calming activity for any age. My hopes are they help address our need as Muslims to be represented in creative spaces while offering some much needed introspection ❤️🤲🏼💕 Links can be found in my bios and posts. Do you color too? As Salaam Alaykum! I wanted to take a few moments from the busy summer schedule to introduce myself and say thanks for following. Like all of you, I have many roles: mom, wife, daughter, artist, educator, to name a few. It’s my faith that brings purpose to each and every role, relationship, and aspect of my life. I began Bridget’s Figgy Studio to share how I connect my purpose through deen inspired art projects. Early on as an educator I saw the need for art in classrooms to express creativity, integrate ideas, and provide therapeutic activities. It was during this pandemic and the shift to online learning that I decided to learn the ropes in this virtual world and begin a YouTube channel. My hopes are my videos will offer some inspiration for others to bring some faith into their art, spark some ideas, and at the very least provide some entertainment. Perhaps even a 🤭 chuckle now and then. I’d love to meet you! Share a bit about you below. 😉
