Hi everyone. Thank you for liking my T’zu Basket page, it really means a lot to me. This coming February I will be going to Kenya Africa with a group of wonderful people on a mission trip. We will be doing several projects for the widows and orphans in a small village named Obaga. We are planning on building houses, doing a free 2 day medical clinic for the whole village, and other projects as time permits.

Would you please consider helping with my fundraising? I have raise most of what I need but still about $500 short. Message me and I can provide you my church address for your tax deductible gift. Every gift can help no matter the size. Thanks in advance.

For more information on this mission trip please check www.nyogaya.org. Or you can check on Facebook for TheJewelsofObaga.

Well we finally had our first good frost here in Asheville. That means I will be able to go out and harvest my kudzu soon. Along with baskets I also make gates and well houses using recycled pallets. Please message me if you are interested in any of my work. Thanks

It has been a very long time since I have felt led to make baskets. The other day while I was talking with God I felt he was telling me the time has come to be creative again. So I said yes sir. After all who says no to God. Anyways I am checking to see who would be interested in owing one of my hand made baskets and what size would you like to have. I am excited to start weaving again.

One of wonderful baskets I made. My client sent me this picture. They were using it to celebrate Christmas today.

Hi everyone. My heart goes out to everyone in Texas that have been affected by Harvey. Now with Irma heading for Florida I pray for safety for everyone there.

Fall is on its way and I am so glad. With the changing of the leafs comes the time to go gather materials for my baskets. I love the process of gathering and then preparing the materials. I believe this is going to be my best year ever.

Well here is the fruit of my labor for the night. I smoked 25 pounds of pork for over three hours then cooked it for another six. It just fell apart. Yummy.
