**Friday Tip of the Day:** Don’t overload the part with clear.

Clear coat is what protects the finish and gives the project its final look, but more isn’t always better. Too much clear too fast can lead to runs, sags, solvent trapping, or longer cure times.

Build your clear in controlled coats and give each coat the proper flash time before moving on.

A smooth finish comes from patience, not rushing the process.

**Friday Tip of the Day:** Don’t rush your dry time.

After your part is rinsed, make sure it is fully dry before moving on to clear coat. Water hiding in edges, seams, holes, or recessed areas can cause issues once you start spraying.

Take a little extra time to blow out tight spots and check the part before clear.

A dry part helps give you a cleaner final finish.
