🎶 A Note About Jazz Fest 🎶
After 35 incredible years of hosting Jazz Fest on Lake Martin, the Alexander City Chamber and Russell Lands have spent time in conversation and evaluation. Together, we feel it is time to bring this long-running event to a close.
The growing gap between sponsorship and resources has made it difficult to continue without impacting other events. While it’s always hard to say goodbye, attendance has declined in recent years and, with so many live music opportunities now available, we feel the timing is right to close this chapter.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported, sponsored, and attended Jazz Fest over the decades. 💙 The memories, the music, and the community spirit will always remain part of our story.
✨ The Chamber and Russell Lands emphasize that while Jazz Fest is ending, our commitment to fostering events that bring people together and enrich the community remains strong. Planning is already underway to consider new experiences that will continue to highlight the vibrancy of Alexander City and Lake Martin.
