With casts of over 100 talented actors, historically accurate costumes, and breathtaking lights, sound and special effects, The Promise tells the story of the life of Jesus Christ in modern family-friendly fashion. Patrons have called it a “life-changing experience,” “an outstanding performance” and a “very inspirational” presentation for modern family audiences. Since its start in 1989, The Promi

se has remained one of the premier passion plays in the United States. Originally performed at the Texas Amphitheater in Glen Rose, The Promise has grown to three annual productions: The Promise of Passover in the weeks surrounding Easter; The Promise, in the Fall; and The Promise of Christmas each December. All productions will be performed at Willow Park Baptist Church in Willow Park, Texas through 2027.

Have you signed up to audition yet? We are looking for dancers, singers, and actors of all ages! Auditions for our fall show are May 31st and June 6th. On May 31st, we will now be at the Lumen Room at The District in Willow Park while the June auditions will be at Willow Park Baptist Church.
