Training with purpose. Growing with intention. 🩰

Our Level 3 students are putting in the work—developing strength, musicality, artistry, and technical precision as they continue to progress through their ballet training.

At Aledo Academy of Ballet, each level is designed to build upon the last, creating strong technical foundations for dancers who are ready to take their training seriously.

Fall Semester begins Tuesday, September 8.

If your dancer is looking for focused, progressive ballet training in a more disciplined environment, we would love to talk with you about finding the right class for them.

🩰 Fall registration is still open.

Pre-professional training isn’t just about taking more classes—it’s about developing the dancer.

Our Pre-Professional dancers receive individualized attention, hands-on corrections, detailed demonstrations, and intentional coaching throughout their training. With small class sizes, we are able to see each dancer, understand what they need, and help them build strong, sustainable technique.

Led by our Director, a former dancer with Romanian National Ballet, our Pre-Professional Training Division is designed to prepare serious dancers for the next level—with the individualized instruction, discipline, and training necessary to pursue a professional career. 🩰

Because great training isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s personal. 🤍

Last week, we had the incredible privilege of welcoming Ms. Fiona Fairrie to Aledo Academy of Ballet. 🤍

A former soloist with Stuttgart Ballet, alumna of the Royal Ballet School, and world-renowned ballet instructor, Ms. Fiona’s knowledge and experience are a true gift to our students and our director.

For our director, Caroline (Arnold) Alexander this relationship is especially meaningful. Former ballet student of Ms. Fiona, she now has the privilege of studying under her as a teacher herself. Having the opportunity to learn from someone who helped shape her as a young dancer is a beautiful full-circle blessing.

Ms. Caroline has spent the summer studying under Ms. Fiona and has gained so much from her wisdom, mentorship, and experience. We are incredibly grateful that she will also be joining us on occasion throughout the year to continue working with our Pre-Professional students as they grow and develop as dancers.

Her mentorship and friendship are such a blessing to our studio, our students, and our director. We are so thankful for all she pours into Aledo Academy of Ballet. 🩰✨

Technique isn’t about doing random exercises. Every movement at the barre has a purpose, preparing dancers with the strength, coordination, and precision they’ll need in the center. Today’s focus: brisé 🩰

There’s something so inspiring about watching young dancers discover what hard work really looks like. Their focus, determination, and love for ballet remind us why we do what we do.

We can’t wait to begin a new season with our newly defined Training Division! Our Ballet 1–6 dancers are committed to growing in both technique and artistry, taking their training to the next level one class at a time. The future is bright, and this is only the beginning. 🤍🩰

The next chapter begins this Fall. 🩰

We’re excited to continue to define our expanded training pathways for dedicated dancers:

✨ Professional Training Division — a full-day program for dancers pursuing intensive pre-professional training.

✨ Pre-Professional Evening Program — designed for committed dancers seeking advanced training while continuing their academic studies during the day or working to advance to the Professional Training Division.

Both programs are built on the same philosophy: purposeful ballet training, individualized instruction, pointe work, athletic development, performance opportunities, and a commitment to developing healthy, well-rounded artists.

Whether training during the day or in the evening, our goal is the same—to equip dancers with the technical excellence, artistry, discipline, and confidence to pursue their highest potential.

We can’t wait for a wonderful season!

The magic doesn’t happen in the center… it starts at the barre. ✨

That beautiful balance didn’t just appear—it was built through careful, intentional work at the barre. When dancers truly understand what they’re doing, the technique follows them into the center.

That’s how we train: building strong, confident dancers from the ground up.

✨ Junior Intensive begins the week of July 13th and is the perfect opportunity for intermediate dancers ready to take the next step.

🩰 Not quite intermediate yet? Our Young Dancers Workshop starts next week and is designed for Ballet 1 students and below (ages 3–9)—helping young dancers build the same strong foundation from the very beginning.

Come train with us. 🤍

A quieter week in the studio after a very full June. 🤍

We can’t wait to welcome our dancers back next week as we kick off our second Young Dancers Workshop and our July Advanced Day Program. There’s still so much dancing ahead this summer, and we can’t wait to see the studio full again.

Come train with us. 🩰
