Pick your own strawberries, kids Adventure Park, chair massages WV crafts, food trucks, and entertainment by GRIT. The 2023 Alderson Strawberry Festival will be Saturday, May 27 from 10am until 4pm. Come out and enjoy family friendly fun, shopping, food, games, music & of course all things strawberry! Much of the festival takes place on the pedestrian bridge spanning across the beautiful Greenbrie

r River! There will be plenty to do on both sides of the bridge so be sure to visit Greenbrier and Monroe Counties to enjoy the complete festival. There will be a variety of activities and fun for all ages! After you take in the festival, take the short 4 mile trip to the 3+ acre strawberry patch at Sunset Berry Farm to pick your own strawberries, ride the bucking cow barrel train, play on the largest bounce pad in the state, do a scavenger hunt in the enchanted forest fairy garden, rest under the picnic shelter while treating your belly to brick oven Sixpence Pizza!

Saturday: Food Trailer will be at Alderson Strawberry Festival at Sunset Berry Farm with full food and drink menu and of course STRAWBERRY SWEET TREATS.
PINK TENT will be at the BRIDGE in town. Mom and Dad will be working the tent. Lemonade MENU ONLY and she will have Poundcake, Double Doozies, and Cookie Crumble Fruit Pizza.

🍓 Strawberries, adventure, and family fun — the Alderson Strawberry Festival begins at Sunset Berry Farm at 8 AM and closes at 8 PM.

The Alderson Strawberry Festival, held in the historic town of Alderson, celebrates the community’s beloved strawberry farm—Sunset Berry Farm, proudly recognized with the prestigious Sweetest Strawberry Award—and the rich agricultural traditions that have made the town famous for its strawberries.

The festival begins at Sunset Berry Farm at 8 AM, where visitors can experience the launch of the brand-new for 2026 Sunset Farm Adventure Park and enjoy a full day of family fun on the farm. Farm attractions include: a mini zipline, bounce pad, working excavators, tractor-pulled rides, a whimsical fairy garden, and many other hands-on activities. Guests can also enjoy pick-your-own strawberries from the farm’s beautiful one-acre strawberry patch while supplies last, browse West Virginia crafts, relax with chair massages, enjoy food trucks, and savor plenty of strawberry sweets. The celebration continues into the evening with live entertainment by the GRIT Rock Band.

Additional vendors will be featured along the iconic Alderson Memorial Bridge (10 AM - 4 PM), which spans two counties and sits nestled beside Alderson’s Store, the oldest continuously operating store in West Virginia. 🍓
