That’s a wrap on an incredible Union County Fair!

This year was one for the books, and our fairgrounds looked better than ever thanks to a massive wave of community support. 🙌

Every improvement made this season was designed to spotlight and support our hard-working 4-H youth, who did an amazing job showcasing months of dedication. 🛠️

✨Fairgoers and exhibitors got to experience some fantastic upgrades on the grounds this year:
Secured Grandstands: A brand-new chain-link fence surrounded the arena, keeping our 4-H families and visitors safe during packed nightly events!
💡 Brighter Beef Barn: Complete electrical rewiring and high-efficiency lighting provided a safer, brighter workspace for our youth as they tended to their cattle [4e867bdb-61da-4f07-a944-0e4e6383f964.html].
🎨 Fresh Paint Makeover: Volunteer crews rolled up their sleeves before the gates opened to repaint the beef barn and static exhibit displays, giving the youth projects a beautiful, clean backdrop!This safety and infrastructure push was powered by an incredible community effort that raised a total of $20,825!

The Union County 4-H Leaders and the Union County Fair Board are officially teaming up! Moving forward, our fundraising efforts will be combined to better serve our incredible 4-H youth and improve our shared fairgrounds. By working as one unified team, we can make your support go even further.

Here is exactly how your donations will work:
25% goes straight to the 4-H program to fund youth programming, ribbons, trophies, and awards for our hard-working participants.
75% goes directly toward fair events and facility upgrades to keep our grounds safe, functional, and fun for everyone.

Union County Fair Celebrates 2026 Dakota Kids Pedal Pull Winners! 🚜The results are in for one of the Union County Fair's most popular events. Enthusiastic crowds gathered to cheer on youth drivers aged 4 to 11 as they tested their strength and stamina on the track.A special congratulations to Isla Gates, who maintained her perfect lifetime winning streak by taking 1st place in the 11-year-old girls' division!
