Not local? No problem! Our physical building is only one part of Master’s Gaming Store. We’ll continue serving customers online with shipping options so gamers outside Albuquerque can shop with us too.

🎒 Back-to-School Boost 2026 – Families Selected 🎒

Jacob and I are excited to announce that we have officially selected the two families who will be receiving assistance through the Master’s Gaming Store Back-to-School Boost 2026 program.

We want to sincerely thank everyone who submitted an application and shared their stories with us. We received many deserving submissions, and the decision was not an easy one.

The selected families have been contacted privately through DM.

As always, we are grateful for the opportunity to give back to the community that has supported Master’s Gaming Store from the very beginning. Last Thanksgiving, we were honored to help four local families, and we’re proud to continue that tradition of helping others when we can.

To everyone who applied: thank you for your trust, your courage, and your willingness to share your story with us. ❤️

🎒 Back-to-School Boost 2026 – Applications Closed 🎒

Today, July 20, 2026, applications for the Master’s Gaming Store Back-to-School Boost 2026 have officially closed.

First, we want to thank everyone who took the time to share their stories with us. We know it isn’t always easy to ask for help, and we appreciate the trust you’ve placed in Jacob and me.

Over the next few days, we will carefully review all submissions and select two families to receive assistance with back-to-school supplies and necessities.

Thank you for allowing us to continue giving back to the community. Last Thanksgiving we were honored to help four local families, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to continue supporting families through our Back-to-School Boost program.

Sony has announced that beginning in January 2028, all newly released PlayStation games will be distributed exclusively in digital format, bringing an end to physical game disc production for new titles on PlayStation consoles.

As a gaming business built by gamers, this news is bittersweet for us. Physical games have always been more than just a way to play—they’re collectibles, pieces of gaming history, and memories you can hold in your hands. From midnight launches to building personal collections, physical media has been a major part of gaming culture for decades.

While we’re saddened to see the industry continue moving away from physical releases, Master’s Gaming Store is committed to adapting and continuing to serve the gaming community. Our passion for preserving gaming history remains stronger than ever.

This change only strengthens our commitment to expanding our retro gaming library and preserving physical games from generations past. Whether it’s PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Sega, GameCube, or other classic systems, we want future gamers to have the opportunity to experience and own the games that helped shape this industry.

Gaming’s future may be increasingly digital, but its history deserves to be preserved.

🎉 Today marks 1 Year of Master’s Gaming Store! 🎉

One year ago today, Master’s Gaming Store officially became a legal business. What started as a dream, a passion for gaming, and a lot of hard work has grown into something we are incredibly proud of.

Over the past year, we’ve bought, sold, and traded games and consoles, connected with gamers across the community, hosted events, expanded our online presence, and continued working toward our long-term goal of opening our physical location. Every sale, every share, every customer, and every supporter has helped us reach this milestone.

We’ve experienced challenges, learned valuable lessons, celebrated victories, and continued pushing forward. Through it all, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to bringing gamers together and providing great products, service, and experiences.

Last Thanksgiving, Jacob and I had the privilege of helping four local families through our Masters Give Thanks program by providing grocery gift cards for their holiday meals.

This summer, we want to continue giving back to our community.

We’re excited to announce the Master’s Gaming Store Back-to-School Boost 2026, where we will be selecting two local families to receive assistance with backpacks, school supplies, and other back-to-school necessities.
