Join us at the NM CreativeCon this Saturday at the National Hispanic Cultural Center! We'll be doing two presentations. One on how and why to register your creative business. the other is all about understanding the language of funding, co-presented with Ampl Labs. Plus, there are a ton of other amazing workshops for artists and arts supporters of all kinds!

Arts Hub's smART Classrooms program supports academic learning, school engagement, attendance and graduation. It also supports social/emotional learning, student well-being, and provides opportunities for students to creatively express themselves. We focus on student-created work so the young people we work with are empowered to use their own voice and share their own perspectives.

Photos from our Playwright-in-Residence and High School Improv League final showcases 😄

• smART Classrooms is an in-school arts education program where we bring local artists directly into classrooms and afterschool programs. We provide a variety of offerings from performing to visual arts.

• Many of the program's components (like the Playwright-in-Residence and High School Improv League) involve year-long residencies where students experience deep learning in an arts subject.

• This past year, we reached over 3,000 students in Albuquerque and all programming was provided at no cost to students and families!

We asked our improv students what they took away from the High School Improv League program. So what did they say? Leadership skills, closer bonds to classmates, the ability to think on your feet, the opportunity to create something new, and more!

These young performers did an AMAZING job at the showcase for our High School Improv League! After spending a year learning how to do short form improv, the students got a chance to show off what they learned. They were hilarious, confident, and such quick thinkers. We had a blast working with them this year.
